What does GSRD mean and how can we be more culturally competent to work with this diverse group of clients.
Are you keen to offer a more responsive service to Gender, Sexuality and Relationship Diverse (GSRD) clients?
What is your own experience of your gender, sexuality, sex and relationships? What choices have you made and what has informed these choices? Do you experience your gender and sexuality as biological? As chosen? Are you monogamous or open or polyamorous? Are you asexual or demisexual ?
This workshop will offer you the opportunity to consider these and a myriad of other questions so that you can investigate your biases and how these might impact your views of different lifestyles and choices. We will also think about the framework that we use to think about GSRD clients and how our frame of reference may impact our provision of a culturally competent and welcoming environment for a range of GSRD clients.
