This is a 3-hour workshop which will follow the ACPNL AGM and is free to members who attend both. A light lunch and networking included.
Janet has specialised in the field of autism for over 20 years. She collaborates with her clients providing a supportive space from which to explore their unique perspective and experience. The aim is to enable a better understanding of themselves and the world around them and build upon their strengths and manage their difficulties. She works with individuals, couples and families as well as facilitating a number of autism groups. She is also a passionate and experienced autism awareness trainer and consults both in the public and private sector.
“The opportunities and complexities of working with autistic clients”. This workshop aims to build your awareness and understanding of autism and explore ways of working therapeutically with this diverse client group. During the workshop, you will also have the privilege of engaging with and listening to the experiences of autistic people.
